Suggested Giving Guide
The federal government wants approximately 23% of what you make. Churches ask for a 10% tithe to cover operations and ministries. The United Way asks that you start by looking at what 2% of your salary could do.
This is calculated by doubling the first three digits of your salary: if you make $33,896, then simply multiply 338 x 2 = $676. Considering the impact you’ll have on ministries and services, think about doing slightly more.
