Rachel L. Holder President/CEO Rachel is responsible for overseeing the operations of United Way including the fall fundraising campaign, initiatives including Success By 6 and Project PASS, and finances. Previously she served as the Director of Resource Development for United Way, and the Marketing Manager for cj advertising in Nashville prior to joining the nonprofit sector. Rachel currently chairs the statewide committee on Education for United Way. She is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Rutherford and a 2005 graduate of the Dale Carnegie Leadership program. Rachel is a member of the Junior League of Murfreesboro where she currently serves as the Research & Development Chair. Rachel graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Mass Communications. She has been married to her husband Justin for 4 years and they have two dependents, a gifted Miniature Pinscher named Onyx, and their newest addition, a Shih Tzu named Ruby. |

Holly H. Lane-Adreon Director of Resource Development Holly is responsible for overseeing the annual fundraising campaign including the overall planning and implementation of a corporate, workplace and individual giving campaign, as well as the Loaned Executive program. Previously, Holly served as the Judicial Assistant to Rutherford County Juvenile Court Judge Donna Scott Davenport. Holly is currently a Rutherford County Chamber Diplomat. She is also a member of the 2007-2008 Leadership Rutherford Class. Holly is a member of the Murfreesboro Junior League where she has served on the Research and Development committee, Debutante Ball, has been elected Member at Large, and will be serving as Co-Chair for Research and Development Committee this year. In addition, Holly has been actively involved with many community events, Child Advocacy Duck Race, Kids in the Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, Legacy in Black and White, Main Street Patron, and Pearl Ball. Prior to working for United Way, she also served as an Allocation Panel Volunteer for United Way. Holly attended Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Virginia where she was a Trustee Scholar. Holly obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree at Middle Tennessee State University. She attended MTSU/Tennessee State University where she has completed all coursework for a Master of Criminal Justice Administration and is working on completing her thesis. Holly has been married to Jason for 3.5 years. They are huge animal lovers and have 2 rescue dogs, Carlie and Jax, a Dachshund, Jasmine, and an American Singer canary, Ramalo. In Holly’s free time, she enjoys being active in her community, spending time outdoors, and traveling. |

Lena Miller Warnock Director of Marketing and Special Events Project PASS Director Lena is responsible for creating all marketing materials, overseeing all special events, and being the main liaison for all local media. She is also director and creator of Project PASS – an initiative funded by the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties. Project PASS (Preparing Adults for Self-Sufficiency) gives adults in Rutherford and Cannon Counties the opportunity to make a lasting change in their lives. Project PASS helps adults become gainfully employed by offering classes in basic computer skills, resume writing, internet job search skills, and interview skills. She is a provisional member of the Junior League of Murfreesboro, and she is the 2008/09 Kids in the Kitchen chair. Lena also sits on the Rutherford County Adult Literacy Council, is a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee and is a member of the Marketing Committee for the United Ways of Tennessee. Lena graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Mass Communications in 2006 and is an active alumna of Alpha Delta Pi. She is a newlywed and has been married to her husband, Brad, for almost a year. |

Aurelia L. Holden Director for Agency & Volunteer Relations A native of Rutherford County, Aurelia is responsible for coordinating the application processes for United Way, Combined Federal Campaign, Tennessee Employees Charitable Campaign, and Tennessee Board of Regents Campaign. She staffs the Community Impact Committee and Volunteer Panel review process which evaluate partner agency program outcomes & requests and make allocation recommendations for United Way funding. Aurelia serves on the Wellness Council of Rutherford County, the Rutherford County Council on Aging, and Local Boards of the Emergency Food & Shelter Programs in Rutherford & Cannon Counties. She previously served as Director of Finance & Allocations for United Way. Aurelia graduated from MTSU with B. S. in History and did graduate work in Historic Preservation. She came to work at United Way in 1996 after a career in retail sales, management & buying. |

Misty M. Patton Director of Finance and Administration Misty is responsible for all bookkeeping/accounting functions and is responsible for maintaining staff benefits. Additionally, she is responsible for maintaining IT issues. She attended various computer classes at MTSU and NSTI for a computer accounting degree. |

Kathy Ferrell Project PASS Coordinator Kathy joined United Way in November 2007 after serving on the Steering Committee for Project PASS. Her commitment to Project PASS stems from the belief that many adults in our community have a genuine desire to be employed, but may lack basic employable skills. PASS addresses the need for education and workplace training skills in the following areas: GED preparation, basic workplace computer skills, resume/interview skills, and job search skills. She is married to Jason and they reside in Murfreesboro with their three children. In addition to her commitment to United Way, Kathy serves as the President-Elect for the Junior League of Murfreesboro, serves on the Board of Directors for the Child Advocacy Center, serves Alive Hospice through Camp-Forget-Me-Not, volunteers at Barfield Elementary School, and teaches Kindergarten Sunday School at Belle Aire Baptist Church. |

Ruth Ventrice Project Director for Success By 6 Ruth Ventrice is the Project Director for Success By 6, an early childhood initiative of United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties. Success By 6 provides education and support to parents and teachers of young children, ages birth to 6 years old, with the goal of ensuring that children are ready for learning and lifelong success by the time they start kindergarten. Ruth joined the United Way staff in January of 2000 as an Information and Referral specialist for First Call for Help. In 2001, United Way developed the Success By 6 initiative and Ruth became the director in 2004. Success By 6 started with an original focus on educating parents about their children’s social-emotional development, but has expanded its programs over the years to promote family literacy and health and nutrition as well. |

Sharon Ross Office Manager Sharon has been with United Way for five years. In her role, she maintains the administrative & financial database and handles all accounts receivable. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Rick of 17 years. She enjoys reading, walking and jigsaw puzzles. |
