What is the Pacesetter Program?
The Pacestter program is designed for those companies who are spotlighted as leaders in the community. As a pacesetter, your company will help "set the pace" for the entire fundraising campaign. The Pacesetters begin their campaign at the beginning of August and complete their campaign by Labor Day (September 6, 2010). This gives companies a chance to run a fast, highly publicized, efficient campaign. These dedicated companies start the momentum for the United Way campaign, spreading excitement through the community.
Advantages to being a Pacesetter:
- High visibility with signage, promotions, and print and radio recognition
- Promotion of your company as a United Way supporter
- Encourages campaigns to be held early, quickly and efficiently
- Allows for concentrated efforts of staff and volunteers
What United Way will offer Pacesetters:
- Signs exhibiting your company's support
- Special pick up date for campaign supplies
- Media promotions highlighting Pacesetter companies
- Concentrated support by United Way staff
- Special training for those needing assistance
